Our mission is to become "Your Information Center" for individuals, families, and businesses — to serve as a resource for reliable, easy-to-read-and-understand information that educates, enlightens, and enriches lives.
Our Writers
EDITH BROWN, author of Bicycling for Fun and Fitness, is a native of Brunswick, Georgia and the owner of Jeteak Press, a Maryland based freelance writing company that specializes in creative, technical, and general writing services. Edith has been writing for over thirty years and has developed training and procedure manuals, promotional pieces for established and new businesses, how-to infoproducts for people who want to start a business or learn a new skill, church programs, business cards, booklets, and a variety of news and fun articles.
Edith says, "I became a writer because my greatest joys have come from motivating and assisting others to reach their goals. And I have acquired many blessings from sharing this ability and my thoughts with others.
"When I can get away from my computer or laptop, I enjoy bicycling, jogging, camping, hiking, swimming, racquetball and working out in gyms. Several of my joys (biking and hiking) are carried over to my Humanitarian efforts to raise funds for organizations such as The Avon Breast Cancer Walk, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 'Race For The Cure,' and The Washington DC AIDS Bike Ride to make funds available for patient aid, research, public education, and advocacy programs.

After twenty years in business, Lillie Ammann sold her interior landscape company - one of the largest interior landscape companies and one of the largest woman-owned businesses in the area - to a large national corporation, then she fulfilled her dream of becoming a freelance writer and editor. She has authored two nonfiction books and three novels, edited books for publishers and authors, written business documents, and published newsletters. As Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Your Information Center, Lillie makes use of both her business and editing experience.
Her accomplishments are listed in Who's Who in America. She is an active volunteer for her church and several business and writing organizations. Lillie and her husband have one adult son.
